It is a traditional software product, repackaged with an AI agent twist, and placed under the crypto lens by a news outlet desperate for content. This isn't just a misclassification; it is a signal of how the industry conflates any tech move by prominent figures as a crypto catalyst. Tracing the hidden vulnerabilities in the code — or rather, the absence of code — I find a project that belongs to the enterprise collaboration space, not the blockchain stack.

## Context: What Buzz Actually Is Buzz is a group chat and collaboration tool that integrates AI agents into messaging, code, and workflow management. Block describes it as open-source, though no repository has been published yet. The platform aims to allow humans and AI to collaborate on code in real time, potentially automating code reviews, task management, and documentation. It competes directly with Slack, Microsoft Teams, and GitHub, which already have AI features. The crypto coverage emphasized the "open-source" aspect and Jack Dorsey's Bitcoin advocacy, implying a Web3 connection. But Buzz does not use a blockchain for identity, payments, or data storage. ## Core: Technical Analysis and the Absence of Blockchain From my experience auditing MakerDAO and Uniswap V2, I am accustomed to analyzing smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and economic security. Buzz presents none of these. The technical stack is likely standard modern web technologies: React, Node.js, WebSockets, and large language model APIs. The innovation is in the workflow integration, not in any fundamental protocol advancement.
